Please notice the two bolts in the photo. The bolt to the left is the industry standard "carriage bolt". The one on the right is special. I invented this bolt and named it the rib neck. It has an eight pointed star shape under the head which extends down the shaft 3/4 of an inch.
These eight points cut into the wood when the bolt is hammered
into its hole.
